Secretaria das Mulheres realiza 3ª Caminhada João Pessoa Por Elas contra o assédio e a importunação sexual
março 11, 2024A Secretaria Extraordinária de Políticas Públicas para as Mulheres (SEPPM) segue com atividades alusivas ao Dia Internacional da Mulher e realiza, na próxima quinta-feira (14), na orla da Capital, a 3ª Caminhada João Pessoa Por Elas – “Não é Não Contra Assédio e Importunação”. A expectativa da organização é de atrair mais de 300 participantes.
A concentração acontece às 6h, no Busto de Tamandaré, onde será montada uma estrutura com tendas e equipes que darão suporte ao evento. De acordo com a programação, a saída está prevista para às 6h30, em direção ao a Cabo Branco, compreendendo 1 quilômetro (km) de percurso, de onde retornará ao Busto de Tamandaré.
“Não tem inscrição e qualquer pessoa poderá participar. Trata-se de uma caminhada simbólica para arrecadar absolventes para o combate à pobreza menstrual. Toda arrecadação será distribuída com mulheres em vulnerabilidade social”, explicou a secretária Extraordinária de Políticas Públicas para as Mulheres de João Pessoa, Nena Martins.
A terceira edição do evento é uma realização da Prefeitura de João Pessoa, através da SEPPM, em parceria com a Autarquia Especial Municipal de Limpeza Urbana (Emlur) e o Instituto Nacional de Desenvolvimento Humano (INADH).
Nena Martins ressalta que a Secretaria preparou para este mês uma vasta programação alusiva ao Dia Internacional da Mulher, iniciando as atividades no último dia 4 com palestras sobre enfrentamento à violência contra a mulher na Rede Municipal de Ensino e centros comunitários, oferta de curso de capacitação nas áreas de estética e beleza, além de outras ações de promoção à qualidade de vida. Com exceção do curso técnico que terá durabilidade de até cinco meses, as demais ações se estenderão até o final do mês junto as escolas.
