Estudantes da Escola Municipal Antônio Santos Coelho Neto, do bairro da Penha, terão aula de cerâmica artística e utilitária nesta terça-feira (21). A atividade faz parte da comemoração ao mês da Consciência Negra, do projeto Identidade e Cultura dos Povos Afro-brasileiros e Indígenas, realizada pela unidade escolar.
A aula de cerâmica artística e utilitária será ministrada pelo ceramista e professor Jeorge Paiva e pelo artista e professor Ilson Moraes, que compõem a equipe de profissionais do Celeiro Espaço Criativo, localizado no Altiplano. “Nós iremos passar noções básicas das técnicas de cerâmica para uma possível sustentabilidade através da arte em cerâmica. A aula será das 13h às 16h.
As atividades da escola voltadas para a valorização das identidades afro-brasileiras e indígenas se estenderam até as 21h. A programação inclui também exposições, apresentações culturais, oficinas, culinária típica, desfile, performance, exibição, música e contação de história.
O evento conta com apoio da Prefeitura de João Pessoa, através da Secretaria de Educação e do Instituto Alpargatas e do Programa Educação pela Cultura.
